Are you still affected by events in your past?
Are you curious about the “Spirit” aspect of Mind-Body-Spirit?
What would it feel like to finally release old patterns and reconnect with your Authentic Self?
I’m Audrie Meyer, a licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience and 30 years of spiritual exploration. My approach blends my clinical background with a holistic focus on mind-body-spirit healing, helping you reconnect with your True Essence and move beyond the traumas of the past. With an MBA from NYU, an MA in Counseling Psychology, and certification as a Master Practitioner of Emotional Transformation Therapy, I bring a unique set of skills to guide you on this transformative journey.
**These sessions are not intended to replace psychotherapy, but can be an adjunct in support of it.
This level involves deepening and embodying the transformation. We’ll work on integrating everything you’ve learned, using the insights and breakthroughs to guide your everyday life. As you move into self-leadership, we’ll explore any remaining barriers to embodiment and help you live from a place of alignment with your Authentic Self. This is where the true shift happens—living from wholeness, curiosity, and spiritual wisdom.
In this stage, we dive into releasing the emotional burdens and patterns that have been holding you back. We’ll explore how your past, including childhood wounds, has shaped your current thoughts and feelings. Through this process, you may also gain insight into how generational trauma may be influencing you and your loved ones, allowing you to free yourself from its grip and step into greater self-leadership and healing.
At this foundational level, we’ll focus on reconnecting you with your Authentic Self—your True Essence. Together, we’ll strengthen your relationship with this inner resource, allowing you to access the clarity and wisdom that comes from beyond the mind and ego. By developing secure attachment and increasing self-awareness, you’ll build a strong foundation for deeper transformation.
Decades of research on childhood development have shown that the experiences we have as children profoundly impact not only our minds but also our bodies and access to our spirit. The ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) study, a large-scale research project, revealed that adverse childhood events are linked to both mental and physical health issues and can even predict long-term health outcomes, including mortality.
One excellent resource on the topic is What Happened to You? by Dr. Bruce Perry and Oprah Winfrey. This book challenges us to reconsider the lasting effects of childhood experiences and helps us understand how early interactions shape our development. Rather than asking "What’s wrong with you?" it shifts the focus to "What happened to you?"—a crucial step in understanding the mind-body-spirit connection that is often overlooked in traditional health paradigms.
Licensed mental health clinicians such as MDs (Psychiatrists), PhDs, PsyDs, LCSWs, LMFTs, and LPCCs are trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions. For insurance to cover psychotherapy, your condition must meet the criteria for "medical necessity." This typically means you have a diagnosable mental health condition, and that the condition interferes with your daily functioning—whether at work, in social relationships, or through risky/self-harming behaviors.
Traditional mental health therapy seeks to discover what is wrong with you. I focus on helping you understand what happened to you.
The support I offer focuses on self-exploration and strengthening your internal foundation. I do not diagnose or treat psychiatric conditions, but instead, guide you through the process of discovering and accessing your inner truth. While this is not psychotherapy, my 15 years of clinical experience will support your journey toward personal growth and self-discovery.
